XL-AES

Designed with compatibility with the 888 and 833 mixer/recorders, the XL-AES provides 8-channels of AES3 audio via 4x TA3F input connections. Mounts directly to the expansion port located on the top panel of the recorder. Dimensions (HxWxD): 2.6 x 7.9 x 6.1cm. Weight: 122g

Batteries and powering

MX-4AA

Spare battery sled for MixPre-3, MixPre-3M, MixPre-6, and MixPre6M recorders. Holds 4x AA batteries. Sound Devices recommend using rechargeable NiMH batteries.

MX-8AA

Spare battery sled for MixPre-3, MixPre-3M, MixPre-6, MixPre6M, MixPre-10, and MixPre10M recorders. Holds 8x AA batteries. Sound Devices recommend using rechargeable NiMH batteries.

MX-LMount

An optional L-Mount battery sled for MixPre-10M, MixPre-10T, MixPre-6, MixPre-6M, MixPre-3, and MixPre-3m recorders. The sled holds two hot-swappable lithium-ion batteries.

MX-PSU

An AC power supply with USB-C connector. Includes adapter plugs for UK, US, Australia, and Europe. Formally identified as MX-Charge, this power supply is compatible with all MixPre models with the exception of the MixPre-10 II.
Note: This power supply doesn’t recharge batteries of unit.

MX-USBY

Single USB-C to dual USB-A Y-cable for powering mixers/recorders including MixPre-3, MixPre-3M, MixPre-6, and MixPre-6M. 180cm in length.

XL-B2

An L-mount, 7.4V lithium-ion battery. 52000 mAh.

XL-NPH

An NP-type battery cup for 302, 552, 633, 664, 688, and 7-series mixers/recorders. Terminated with Hirose 4-pin locking DC connector. 30.48cm in length.

XL-WPH3

Universal, in-line AC-to-DC power supply detachable IEC power cord for Sound Devices MM-1 and HX-3. DC plug is by way of right-angled coaxial connector. 100–240, 50/60 Hz; output 12 VDC, 3.0A.

XL-SMARTCHARGER

A dual port charger for two XL-SMARTBATTERY batteries. A multi-coloured LED display helps identify the status of the inserted battery. Dimensions (HxWxL): 58 x 122 x 180mm. Weight: 360g.

XL-SMARTCUP

The SmartCup allows connection between XL-SMARTBATTERY and audio recorder via TA4 connection.
