The Glencontroller Windows10 application is provided free of charge from Glensound via their webpage (see the 'Windows 10 GlenController installer' in the Resources area). It has been designed to add network remote control and setup facilities to compatible Dante/AES67 network audio products.
GlenController automatically finds all compatible devices that it can control on the network. It is possible to password protect devices to prevent unauthorised access.
All compatible devices can connect to multiple GlenControllers simultaneously, meaning that several operators in a workflow can access a device and see its levels, gains, meters etc at the same time.
GlenController has built in redundancy. It connects to the devices that it is controlling by both the primary and secondary network interfaces (if available) and it, like Dante network audio, provides seamless backup if one of the two networks should fail.
None of the devices that GlenController connects to requires GlenController to be running for them to operate. This means that if the PC that is running GlenController has an issue mid-broadcast then your broadcast audio will not be affected.
The Glensound unit are compatible with the Glencontroller are the Paradiso, Paradiso Lite, DARK1616M, DARK1616S, DARK8MAI, DARK8MAIR and the Styx.
