PANDUIT OPTICOM FIBRE PANELS - LC, SC, ST and E-2000 - Fixed case with fibre management kit - Modular

A modular fibre-optic patch-panel system allowing expansion and custom configuration within a single 1U panel. The adapter panel can accommodate up to four black, snap-in connector plates or blanking plates. Connector plates are supplied fitted with either six LC duplex, SC duplex, E-2000 duplex or ST couplers. To simplify product selection and maximise performance, all couplers have zirconia ceramic sleeves offering precision alignment, lower loss and a longer life than phosphor-bronze types. They are suitable for OM1/OM2/ OM3/OM4 multimode, and OS1/OS2 singlemode connection. Couplers are colour-coded LC aqua, SC, blue and E-2000 blue.

The adapter panel may be fitted directly into a 19 inch rack but it is recommended that it combined with the optional 1U rack-mount rear case, to provide fibre management space and protection. Multiple trunk cable-entry locations are provided on the rear and sides of the enclosure. Fibre termination and routing must be carried out before fitting the case top-cover and mounting the assembly in a rack or flight case. Conversely the panel/case assembly must be removed from the rack and the top-plate unscrewed to gain access to the rear of the couplers and fibre management area. The rear case is supplied complete with a fibre-management routing kit, consisting of grommets, cable ties, spools, strain-relief bracket and ID/caution labels.

Panel and case components are black painted steel. Note that no designation strip or write-on area is provided, however channels are numbered where space allows.
