The XX-HD series are heavy duty XLR cable connectors for outdoor use. The all metal design is dust and water protected to IP67 when mated with XX-HD cable connectors or MPR-HD chassis connectors. Gold contacts are standard.
A neoprene rubber sealing-jacket protects the shell and latch mechanism from ingress of dirt and moisture into the connector body, and gives protection against mechanical shock.
D suffix in part number denotes that connectors are supplied disassembled.
Note: The XX-HD series female cable connectors do NOT mate with standard male panel connectors. They only mate with PR-HD series panel types. BXX coloured glands and XXR coding rings cannot be used with XX-HD connectors.
Ordering note
Type codes with no suffix denote nickel plated shell. Type codes with B suffix denote black shell. Note that the black shell finish is non-conductive; for applications where the XLR shell needs to be conductive, please use the nickel plated versions.
