Manufactured for the pro audio industry and in particular IFB (Interruptible foldback), these in-ear monitors are designed to provide the user with a comfortable monitoring option that is ‘not visible when worn in the ear’.
The design of The Sidekick 3 in-ear monitors sees improved performance in comparison to the older Sidekick 2. A new driver gives a wider frequency response, and in turn offer greater clarity and sound definition. The impedance of the earphones has been slightly reduced so that the drivers offer more compatibility with lower output devices such as mobile devices.
The 122cm cable has a diameter of 33 micrometres, is terminated with a TRS 3.5mm jack, and is available with curly strain relief or without. Sidekick 3 weighs 360milligrams without the cable, ensuring comfortable wearing with ‘a virtually fatigue-free experience’ over periods of hours.
A number of optional eartips allow differing levels of ambient noise and frequency definition, and a selection of which are included with the Sidekick 3.

This stereo version has the same acoustic properties as the Sidekick 3 mono IFB monitors, however it has a stereo configuration and therefore allows the user to monitor in both ears.

Satellite Eartip is a slotted flange design that allows full ambience, enabling the user to hear both monitoring comms and environmental noise. Available in packs of 10 in large (BBI-SSE-10-L), medium (BBI-SSE-10-M), or small (BBI-SSE-10-S) sizes.
Cowbell Eartip is a single flanged eartip that offers medium ambience ingress and is therefore a good solution for user who find the Satellite or Christmas Tree eartips too open/closed. Available in packs of 10 in large (BBI-SCE-10-L) or medium (BBI-SCE-10-M) sizes.
Christmas Tree
Christmas Tree Eartip is a double flange design that offers low ambience and therefore effectively filter out background noise enabling the user to focus on the feedback comms provided. Available in packs of 10 in extra-small (BBI-SXE-10-XS), small (BBI-SXE-10-S), medium (BBI-SXE-10-M), or large (BBI-SXE-10-L) sizes.
Round Eartip has been designed for increased frequency definition, and therefore offers little ambient noise ingress. Available in packs of 10 in small (BBI-SRE-10-S) or medium (BBI-SRE-10-M) sizes.
ACCESSORIES
A pack of eight filters with accompanying insertion/removal tool. The filter is designed to prevent dust and dirt entering the driver of the Sidekick and therefore giving a longer lifespan. Bubble suggest the pack of filters ‘when used properly under normal conditions, will easily last for the lifespan of your Sidekick’.
