Adastra is a branded that was founded in 1949, and has since became a manufacturer of complete and versatile solutions for commercial installations. This series of multi-format media players from Adastra have playback formats including DAB, DAB+, FM tuner, CD, MP3 via SD card and/or USB and auxiliary input.
Designed for hotels, classrooms, boardrooms, and event hall, Adastra AS-4 is a 1U rack-mountable multimedia player with DAB+ tuner for digital radio reception and FM analogue radio tuner. Other playback media types include a USB audio player for mp3 tracks and a front mounted auxiliary audio input for wired connection to an mp3 or CD player, whilst a Bluetooth connection allows for connection to a smart phone or tablet. Each audio source can be setup and controlled from the front panel or via the supplied infrared remote control. The remote is powered by 2x AAA battery cells. The Bluetooth antenna is fixed to the rear facing panel, however the included DAB antenna is removable. Two user-programmable alarms can be set to trigger DAB or FM playback, or a beep sound at preset times.

Adastra AS-6 is a 1U rack-mountable media player with six different playback modes including slot-fed CD player, USB player, SD card player, FM tuner, DAB/DAB+ tuner and Bluetooth receiver. All physical inputs are located on the front facing panel. The front facing panel also houses a full colour TFT display, which shows mode and settings information, including a clock in standby mode. A rotary control and navigation keys on the right side of the front panel operate the menus and playback. Functions can also be operated using the included infrared remote control handset. A compact magnetic spring antenna is provided for FM and DAB+ reception. This antenna connects to an F-type socket on the rear facing panel. Alternatively an optional roof-mounted antenna can be connected for better reception.
