SENTER ST800K-B and ST800K-UB HANDHELD OPTICAL POWER METERS - Combined multimode and singlemode

The ST800K-B and ST800K-UB optical power meters offer a comprehensive range of measurement functions for use in LAN, WAN, CATV and remote fibre-optic installations. They may be used in conjunction with the Senter ST815C Laser Source to offer precise measurement at 850, 1300, 1310, 1490, 1550 and 1625nm wavelengths. They may be used for linearity and non-linearity testing and can display both absolute power in dBm or uW and relative power in dB. They are also capable of 270, 330, 1K, 2kHz light identification and indication. Housed in a rugged case, this handheld device is suitable for field or test bench use.

Both units have a large backlit LCD display and user-friendly interface. Both have an auto shut-off function after ten minutes to aid battery life. Each kit comes complete with adapters for SC, LC, ST and FC, an internal, rechargeable, lithium battery, UK charger and soft carry-case.

In addition to the above, the ST800K-UB has the ability to record up to 1000 test results, which may be exported to a PC via a USB socket for analysis. It also incorporates a 650nm VFL (visual fault locator) light source.

Standard wavelength: 850, 1300, 1310, 1490, 1550 and 1625nm. Detector type: InGaAs. Power testing range: -50 to +26dBm. Uncertainty: +/-5%. Resolution: 0.1%, linearity display; 0.01dBm, logarithm display. Working temperature: -10 to +50 deg C.
