Designed and manufactured by LEN in the UK, these galvanic isolators are specifically for the protection of the latest generation 4K/12G cameras.
This galvanic isolator is compatible with HD/3G and 4K/12G SDI formats, and protects sensitive ports from transient voltages (when hot-swapping), protects from induced voltages in long cable runs, as well as acting as a doubler.
Two universal mounting points enables 'easy attachment' to the camera. As L4KP01 is of passive design, there is no need for an external a power supply or battery. LEN suggest 'a good quality 75Ohm termination should be fitted to the unused output' if the second SDI output is not in use.
