NEUTRIK MODULAR STAGEBOXES - Economy
A robust and economical range of stageboxes, available in three versions, each in three lengths. Each box comprises a pair of plastic moulded end-plates which also serve as feet, four black-painted extruded aluminium joint-pieces which run the length of the box, a number of connector plates, blank plates as required, plus a resilient 120mm long spiral cable-gland at one end. The connectors are a moulded set of 4 XLR 3-pin female, or 4 XLR 3-pin male, both types using IDC (rather than solder buckets), eliminating stripping and tinning of wires, for rapid assembly. Wire sizes from 0.14mm² to 0.22mm² are accepted. Female types have spring retention rather than latches for quick de-rigging. Maximum cable diameter 20mm. Blank plates can be punched by the user for additional connectors, indicators etc.
Type A is a large trapezoid profile (134mm width × 79mm height), with three rows of connectors, on the two sloping faces plus top
Type B is a trapezoid profile (117mm width × 79mm height), with two rows of connectors, on the two sloping faces
Type C is a square profile (87mm width × 77mm height), with two rows of connectors, on the two sides
Length 1 stageboxes are 132mm long, excluding gland
Length 2 stageboxes are 252mm long, excluding gland
Length 3 stageboxes are 372mm long, excluding gland
The Neutrik part code indicates the length, the type, the number of female XLR connectors, and the number of male XLR connectors. All stageboxes are supplied disassembled, for rapid assembly.
Spare modular plates, with either 4 female or 4 male connectors are also available, to allow alternative connector configurations to be created. Luminescent labels are also available to assist connector identification.
