The DT 234 PRO is a lightweight professional headset suitable for broadcast, communications and multimedia applications. The noise-cancelling electret microphone is fitted to a 150mm boom and has a frequency response from 50 to 20000 Hz. The microphone output is unbalanced and requires a supply voltage in the range of 1.5 to 9V DC. The earphones are of the closed, supraural type with an impedance of 32 ohms and a frequency response of 20 to 18000 Hz. The headset is terminated with two 3.5 mm mini jacks on 1M Y cord.
Headset combining double-sided closed earphones with a gooseneck boom and a broadcast-quality (40 - 20000 Hz) condenser cardioid microphone. The microphone element is suspended in a highly-flexible neoprene shock-mount to minimise mechanical coupling. The microphone response is optimised for use between 50 and 100mm from the mouth, which corresponds to the recommendations set by the IRT (Institute for Radio Technology) in Munich for optimum speech transmission. This headset is ideally suited for broadcast commentary and sportscast duties. Supplied with straight cable (K190.40), terminated with 3 pole, 6.35mm jack for headphones and 3-pin male XLR for the microphone. Weight: 270g. Impedance: 80 ohms (per earpiece) and 300 ohm microphone. With integrated power supply for phantom powering. In black.
Also available with integrated microphone pre-amp, type DT297 V.11 for use with some broadcast cameras.
