Designed and manufactured in Latvia by sound industry professionals for the pro audio industry, Bubblebee Industries products are manufactured 'to achieve the best possible sound' with an easy to use form. The Aero Pro series has been developed by founder Poul Mejer after years of booming and 'always wanting better'.

Available in three version Aero Pro will have features including quick release, colour-coded suspension hoops, aerodynamics, fur and spacer fabrics, and modularity.

Versions

Each Aero Pro will ship with a spacer fabric cover and Bubblebee's signature fur wind jacket for maximum wind protection. Also included is four suspension mounts - 2x soft, 2x hard; various spares, and a quick-release adapter.

The basket is designed to be detached from the boompole with the microphone remaining inside. A second basket with a different microphone can be quickly mounted when a change of pickup pattern is required. The same joint splits the cable, so cable noise doesn't travel to the mic. Pogo pins carry the audio signal, and a rubber absorber takes out handling noise from the boom or stand.

The suspension holds the microphone in rubber holders adapted for different microphone diameters, colour-coded for different hoop stiffness. The suspensions sit on a carbon-fibre rail that makes it easy to adjust where each hoop sits, so every microphone can be balanced perfectly. Wind on a boom usually arrives from the side, where the diaphragm needs protecting. So the cage is wide and low, shaped for better aerodynamics and better wind protection. In strong wind the low profile gives a smoother airflow over the blimp, and it packs away easily.

Bubblebee Aero Pro has been designed with parts that are easy to adjust and interchange in the field. Any upgrades or replacements of separate parts can be done swiftly.
