AVN-AI16 is a 16-channel analogue Input to Dante or Ravenna interface that incorporates dual RJ45 1Gb/s Ethernet ports to accepts both power and data to the Dante or Ravenna network. These ports, designated primary and secondary, can be configured in redundant mode to provide full network redundancy where infrastructure allows. In this configuration, the unit seamlessly switches from primary to secondary, ensuring continuous audio and power in the event of a link loss or switch failure. The ports can also operate in switched mode, enabling daisy-chaining from the secondary port (data only) to an additional unit. This can reduce cabling requirements in some installations. It should be noted that power is not passed through, and daisy-chained units require their own power supply.
An additional USB-C input is provided as an alternative DC power source where PoE is unavailable. The rear panel includes a threaded hole for securing single/top locking USB-C cables, ensuring a reliable DC connection. For standard USB-C cables, a cable clamp is also fitted to provide strain relief to prevent accidental disconnection. Front panel status and confidence LEDs provide clear indication of PoE status, network link, and clock synchronisation, allowing for diagnostics at a glance, and system monitoring. A recessed front panel switch enables global 0dBFS line-up selection between +12dBu, +18dBu, and +24dBu, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of professional audio equipment.
Configuration and routing are managed via Dante Controller or ANEMAN depending on Dante or Ravenna protocol model employed.
All analogue audio connections are provided via Neutrik XLR or terminal connectors - depending on model. AVN-AI16 is housed in a durable 1U, 19-inch rack-mount aluminium chassis, making it suitable for both fixed installations and mobile rack systems. AVN-AIORK accessory is available to allow the unit to be rack-mounted with its rear panel facing forward, providing convenient access to all connections. This alternative mounting solution is ideal for setups where frequent cable changes or connection monitoring are required.

AVN-M8R is a multi-channel Dante interface which can distribute up to 8x balanced mic/line inputs to 8x channels of Dante/AES67 on the AoIP network. Each input can be controlled remotely via a web server, with settings including, mic preamp gain and switchable phantom power.
The front facing panel includes LED indicators for (PoE, network status and clock synchronisation, along with dedicated LEDs for secondary port link and PoE monitoring. On the rear facing panel, 8x balanced 3-pin XLR connectors provide mic/line connectivity and have associated phantom power and indicators. Primary and secondary 1Gb ports are offered as standard to provide full power and data redundancy, ensuring an uninterrupted reliable solution in critical environments. The GPIO and VGPIO can be used to trigger events over the network between devices, such as microphone muting and other events.
Fully compatible with the Dante AoIP standard, allows AVN-M8R flexible audio routing via Dante Controller. Additionally, Ember+ can be used as a control protocol for real-time status updates and remote control.
