A range of fibre pigtail cables, fibre management and spicing control products to aid on site termination of bulk fibres, removing the need for expensive and time consuming polishing of connectors during installation. For internal use within rackmount enclosures and wall boxes or external use such as fibre management across floors and on walls.

Canford fibre pigtails LC, SC and ST

These fibre pigtails consist of either a SC, ST or LC connector pre terminated with a 1m tail of 900u fibre to a bare end. Pigtails are available in both Multimode OM3 and Singlemode OS1 versions.

The pigtail is typically used on site to terminate bulk fibres removing the need onsite for expensive and time consuming polishing of connectors during installation. During the splicing process a heat shrinkable splice protector is placed over the splice to give protection and support.

Speedway fibre splice tray - 24 fibre

The Speedway splice tray is both easy to use and offers complete flexibility. Featuring an innovative external pathway and pivoting splice holder arrangement, this splice tray combines both fibre management and splicing control in one product. Allows multi-directional routing of entry and exit cables, including cross over, as well as storage of excess fibre. A built in fibre pick can be used to withdraw individual fibres and can be stored in the tray after use, a tray hinge allows access to splices when trays are stacked.

Due to its compact yet accommodating internal dimensions the Speedway splice tray is able to maintain a 30mm bend radius with either 250μm or 900μm buffered fibres and comfortably holds up to 24 splices with either heat-shrink or crimp style splice protectors.

Each tray is supplied with a transparent clip on lid and screw mounted via a central hole, DIN style holes or by use of double sided foam adhesive pads.

Speedway fibre management spool

As with the splice tray this management spool is both easy to use and offers complete flexibility. Allowing multi-directional routing of entry and exit cables, maintaining a 30mm bend radius with either 250μm or 900μm buffered fibres, accommodating cable diameters up to 3mm. This versatile accessory allows the installer to use the complete unit for fiber storage or break it down into up to 6 individual components for fibre management/routing.

Individual spools are designed to be stacked on top of each other allowing as many units as you may require to be mounted through a simple snap fit system. Screw mounting via a central hole or by use of double sided foam adhesive pads.
